October’s Song

October Angel

October’s song, bitter-sweet

Nature’s lullaby, a symphony

heralding long winter’s sleep

Golden red Angelic wings

Feathers, petals, leaves, floating, falling

Wrap around all living things

Her flaming rainbow mantle

Shelters the Autumn winds, harboring

the heart’s candle rekindled

Prelude to the darkest night

Veil thins, embraced in bliss, violet mist

Love alight, burns in Twilight
